    Lawn Smarts

The best forum on the net.  I couldn’t get my own going on this site, so this is where I hang my hat when no posting on here.

    Green Spade

Alot of useful information about a variety of plants. Also seems to be a fellow independent lawn/garden lover.

Info on the emerald ash borer

    The Texas A&M University System

A collection of wood boring insect information. Focuses on wood borers native to Texas, but the information is valid for most regions.

Organic Lawn Care For the Cheap and Lazy

I am in no way an “Organic” believer, however, this site does have some great advice on “cultural” practices.

Best tip for Summer Lawn Care: Take A Vacation!

Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences has it right.

    Managing Adult Japanese Beetles

Do you know of an “online rain gauge” - meaning, a site where I plug in my zip code & it tells me how much rain a specific area has received over a set time period?

Unfortunately Mike I do not know of such a site. Although it would be very nice to know, especially with the drought like conditions some areas are experiencing right now.

I wish I had the time, and more know-how on fixing some little things on this wordpress layout.
All you have to do is right click and copy link location, then paste in address bar of browser and add zipcode to the end. Worked for me. Thanks art and MikeN
