Lawn Renovation - Step by Step

Here is the starting basics to renovating an existing lawn.  I believe this would be a great starting point, especially for those that aren’t sure what is involved and how to start.

Controlling Bermuda Grass in Fescue Lawns - Preliminary 2

Well several more applications have been made, the numbers have been crunched. Its looking great and I’m just waiting for the final results. Another week or less and we’ll have a brand new article, another product review, and a viable solution for homeowners everywhere.

    Copper Trellis Project

My clematis was getting mad at me. The trellis that seemed plenty big for last year was far outgrown with this years outcropping. After an extensive search of home and garden centers I really didn’t see anything that caught my eye. So I decided to try my hand at making my own.

Some 1/2inch copper tubing (approximately 20ft), 10 copper T’s, 8 45s and several hours of measuring, cutting, and soldering and I have a trellis. I can’t wait till it gets that great weathered copper look.

Controlling Bermuda Grass in Fescue Lawns - Preliminary

Here is my current project.  I’ve got the before pictures and have made two applications of what is turning out to be a miracle product.  Results so far have been pretty good.  However application is a little trickier than anticipated.  I would like some help on the math.  1 oz of a 64% pure chemical in 1 gallon of water.  Whats the ppm (parts per million) and actual dilution %.  And does having it in an emulsion make a difference?

Thats it for spoilers.  Look forward to some individual non professional testing to come.
