Grass Mowing Height Chart
I have posted a chart for various grass types as to how high you should mow and how often. Please help me make it as complete as possible by leaving a comment at the bottom of the page like I have.
Real Lawn Sense - Episode 8
Summer lawn care, mowing and fertilizing, and watering, and insects.
No podcast this week.
Sorry to disappoint. Life called this week and work along with my own projects haven’t allowed me to sit down and pound out some audio.
I do have several topics to cover over the next 4 or 5 weeks. E-mail me if you would like to give an opinion on what I should cast some light on next.
Things I want to cover:
- Soil Ph
- Flower Bed Preping ( a little late)
- Mulch Selection
- The four (4) types of Nitrogen
- What should you do during the summer heat?
Again leave me comments on what should be next and if you have a question that I don’t have on the above list.
What would you do?
A good question for anyone who lives in a “nice” city neighborhood.
My neighbor to the East moved out in late March. They lawn has been mowed once since then and that was in early to mid April. There is a chain link fence seperating our lawns (he had dogs). Today, with the grass now over 1ft tall, I took my mower around to the gate and proceeded to mow the lawn.
What would you have done? Take the poll to the right, or leave me a commnet or send an email to info@reallawnsense.com

New Layout
Ok, I’m loving this wordpress thing so much that it is now the whole basis of the site. If you don’t like it then leave me a comment or send an email to info@reallawnsense.com.
Of course with all things I do, this is nowhere near finished. I will try to keep the feeds completely the same so there won’t be any lost listeners.
Thanks again for listening and bearing with me.
